What do you do when you know it’s time to move on, but you keep longing for that “one more perfect day” – so you can’t bear to let go quite yet?

ps sorry for sounding preachie, peechie.
*giggle* had to do that.
i think about who else is involved in this situation with me. i’m not going to assume you’re talking about a relationship because you could also be talking about a job or any other part of your life. so think about who else is being affected by your decision to NOT move on right now, and who would be affected if you DID decide to move on? Are you keeping people waiting? Are you being fair to yourself? Are you being fair to other people?
If there are no negative effects to holding on and waiting, then why not just wait a little longer?
Then again, when you do have that “one more perfect day” will that make a difference to your desire to move on? Will it fix the problem or just make it harder to move on?
I’m right there with ya sister!!!
I am sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but here’s my $0.02…that “one more perfect day” could take two more weeks or two more years…do what you need to do now to make you happy. We love and support you, peechie!
I tend to leave situations when the unhappy outweighs the happy. I am a raging hedonist, though, so it makes sense for me.
Well, I usually turn into a psycho bitch from hell until it’s forced into my head that “one more perfect day” can’t possibly happen.
I don’t recommend this method.
