Something I’ve been meaning to do for AGES and never have is to get all gussied up on Halloween and see the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I’ve never even seen the video version, so it should be a good time (for me at least).
It’s showing at the Vogue on Sunday Oct. 31 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $12/each, or $10.80/ea for groups of 10 or more. If enough people want to get together and do this, let me know. I’ll buy the tickets so we can all converge in a group – but beware, if I fork out $108 plus applicable service charges and people stand me up, I will hunt them down and cut them.
Anyway, leave a comment if you’re interested.
Actually, count me out. I just realized I have other plans!
Ooh, I’m in. I haven’t been to RHPS since … Halloween when I was 18. 🙂
Out of curiousity, do you know the name of the troupe putting it on? My ex-step-cousin was pretty involved in Vancouver’s RHPS scene for a while. (Yes, there’s a “scene”…)
I live across the country, so count me out, but I just wanted to comment to say that you really should rent it first before going to the stage show: you’ll get a lot more out of it. It’s pretty weird and you’ll have more fun if you don’t have to decipher it on the fly 🙂
Oh, and Artos wants to be put on the list too!
PICK ME PICK ME!!!!
I’m going to come as Columbia. I will EVEN wear my tap shoes!!!
Oh, and I almost forgot. My friend Johnny would like to be on that list too. So, I guess that’s two tickets for me, bringing the total up to…something.
Cool.
Ooooo!! Oooo!! Me! Me me me me! Put me down on the list! I’ve never actually *seen* RHPS in the theatre, but it’s one of my favorite movies. I sadly don’t have my Magenta costume done (or even started…) so I probably won’t be dressing up.
And I apologize for all the exclaimation points.
Put me down for one. I have no idea if Drew has the night off, so if he does, he’ll just have to buy himself a single ticket later on.
Hrm. Tempting. I can do a mean Riff-Raff – singing and all.
*hits himself in the nuts and sings “LIKE YOU’RE UNDER SEDATION!”*
ohmygod! i freakin’ love going to see RHPS in the theatre. don’t forget your props!
