For Darren, who queried earlier – squee is the written translation of the noise that women make when very excited, that is usually only audible to dogs.
I thought that SQUEE was the sound that the body snatchers in the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers made when they were ratting out a real person 😉
